There are several week-long summer camp options available both on the Emory University campus and in the surrounding area. Slots for the camps fill up very quickly and registration opens as early as January for some of these. We recommend that conference attendees requiring childcare register for camps as soon as possible. Visit the Emory University Summer Camp and Learning Programs Spotlight to learn more about a variety of local childcare options.
The following camps are available on the main Emory University campus. Visit their websites for more details:
Other camps and childcare options are available in the surrounding Atlanta area. See the Emory University Summer Camp and Learning Programs Spotlight for more information.
Financial Assistance for Childcare
We will provide up to six childcare grants ($350) to enable the participation of in-person conference attendees with caregiving responsibilities. Grants may be used to defray the costs of local camp enrollment, daycare, nanny/babysitter services, or travel for an additional caregiver to assist the conference participant with childcare responsibilities during the conference. More information on the grants and application process is provided on the Conference and Travel Assistance Award website.
